Foreline Trap is a cylinder filled with activated alumina which absorbs oil
vapor typical of those generated by rotary vacuum
pumps. When placed in the backing line of a diffusion
pump or between a roughing pump and the vacuum system it
can reduce back streaming of hydrocarbon contamination to
negligible levels.
The Foreline Trap is made of SS body with quick seal type (KF-TYPE)
inlet, outlet connections, to suit all our ED series
pumps. Foreline Trap is fitted with built in heater for
regeneration of the molecular sieve. This trap is
available in two models FT-25H and FT-50H for 1"
and 2" connections respectively.
