Chevron Baffles are used above the oil Diffusion pump to
trap the back streaming of oil-vapor from oil diffusion
pump . The design of the Chevron baffle is such that, it
has maximum conductance and is optically opaque for
effective condensing of oil vapor.
The
Baffles are fabricated with copper are normally water
cooled. The body is made of stainless steel and inside
baffles are fabricated out of copper. This baffle is
offered in water cooled model. Also refrigeration cooled
baffle can be manufactured for special applications.
