HINDHIVAC offers electron beam
evaporation sources, complete with power supplies for
high temperature, ultra pure evaporation of materials in
vacuum to produce thin films in coating units used in
laboratory and industrial application.
Our Electron Beam Guns are widely used
for all types of thin film work, optical coating and
micro-electronics. The main advantages of electron beam
melting has advantages over other melting processes are
the longer time in molten state and the much lower
vacuum pressure over the molten pool.
A further point in favor of electron
beam melting is that considerable superheats are
possible, thereby enabling some reactions to proceed
that are very slow at temperatures only a little above
the melting point.
